Teacher of the week, Ashleigh Schubert

This week Nissan Teacher of the week goes to Poplarville Lower Elementary Kindergarten teacher, Ashleigh Schubert.
Schubert is in her 6th year of teaching kindergarten, all 6 years were with Poplarville Lower Elementary. Schubert Loves being able to see how much the student grows from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.
“Each year I look forward to watching a new group of students grow.”
The most important thing Schubert what’s her students to take away from her classroom is that they know that they are important and that they are loved.
“Each student is special and I want them to leave my classroom knowing they are capable of anything.”
Something unique about Schubert is she loves tacos, and purple is her favorite color. Even her classroom is purple. She is also a 3rd-degree black belt in Taekwondo and has been training for 8 years.
