Lisa Benson is the 2022-2023 District Teacher of the year. Mrs. Benson is a History Teacher at Poplarville high school and is an integral part of the US History team that produced the highest-ever US History State Test Proficiency percentage of 83%. Mrs. Benson teaches every day with an overflowing love for her students and a passion for their success.
