PSD award Director and Staff Members of the Year

The Poplarville School District Board of Trustees recognized the 2022-2023 Director and Staff Members of the Year at the April 13th meeting.
Scott Necaise was awarded Director of the Year. Dixie Golden-PLE Staff of the Year. Maegen Hay-PUE Staff of the Year, Ashley Gray-MSP Staff of the Year, Nell Hickman-PHS Staff of the Year, Eugene Perez-Transportation Staff of the Year, Patricia Cazeaux- Bus Driver of the Year, and Dawn Varnado was awarded Child Nutrition Staff of the Year.
In other businesses, the Board made approval to accept the educational facilities revolving loan program in the amount of $735,000.00 These funds will assist in the Upper Elementary project which is budgeted for $1.5 million.There was also the approval of the Health & School Safety Platform agreement with nSide, Inc. and the Mississippi Department Of Education for security cameras.
