Joint Effort by Police Stops Major Crime

On Friday, 5 May 2023, The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 700 block of Sycamore Rd. Carriere MS. The home of Timothy Mitchell.
A trafficking amount of methamphetamine was recovered from the property along with three stolen vehicles and a stolen food trailer.
Timothy Mitchell was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine along with Darlene Mitchell. Mitchell was also found to have a type of weapon he was not allowed to possess.
Jeremy Stogner was on the scene during the execution of the warrant and was found to have one of the stolen vehicles.
James Collier was arrested for possession of paraphernalia.

Charges are as followed:
Timothy Mitchell (59) Trafficking a Schedule II dangerous and controlled substance, Possession of a weapon after being convicted of a felony, 3 counts of receiving stolen property.
Darlene Mitchell (60) Trafficking a Schedule II dangerous and controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia.
Jeremy Stogner (48) Receiving stolen property.
James Collier (63) Possession of paraphernalia.

On Friday, 12 May 2023, after receiving multiple neighborhood complaints of drug and other criminal activities, the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit responded to 107 Jasmine Dr. Picayune MS.
Once at Jasmine Dr., Narcotics Investigators had probable cause to detain and identify all five residents. All five were found to be in violation of the law and arrested for said charges. The five were identified as, and arrested for:
Bobbi Douglas (46): Violation of a protection order
Don Douglas (65): Violation of a protection order
Treyvon Magee (24): Possession of paraphernalia
Selena Rodriguez (25): Possession of paraphernalia
Nicholas White (34): Possession of paraphernalia
Nathan Nix (20): Possession of paraphernalia
During the arrest, Investigators came into contact with Hope Douglas. Investigators knew Douglas was wanted for a Domestic Violence warrant, and attempted to arrest her for said warrant. Douglas managed to flee the scene on a bicycle, but was later located and arrested.
