Renowned musician Angela Easley is set to triumphantly return to her Mississippi roots with the “Back In Mississippi” show on January 27th at Ground Zero Club in Biloxi. Originally hailing from Poplarville, Easley credits the unwavering support of family and friends for her musical journey, which began at the early age of 8.

Easley’s musical odyssey took her to Nashville at just 13 years old, where she graced the Grand Ole Opry stage for a talent show’s finale. Reflecting on her diverse musical palette, Easley describes her music as a blend of Blues, Jazz, Rock, Funk, Soul, and Country, culminating in her various influences. Gospel, in particular, holds a significant sway over her creative expression.

Having traversed the musical landscape for many years, Easley once led a band out of New Orleans, performing extensively on the casino circuit. After disbanding the group, she made the move to Nashville. Her performances are characterized by high energy and audience involvement, considering the connection with the audience as vital as the music itself.

“I wanna take them on an emotional experience, uplift their spirits, and touch their heart,” says Easley, emphasizing the need to come together in a world marked by too much hate.

Easley’s musical endeavors extend beyond live performances. She has been nominated for nine Singer-Songwriter Awards by the International Singer-Songwriter Fan-Voted Awards. Currently touring nationally in the U.S., Easley has all the songs written for her next album.
