Two Arrested for Methamphetamine Trafficking in Pearl River County

On Wednesday, 21 February 2024, deputies from the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office conducted a lawful traffic stop of a vehicle at Savannah Millard Rd by I-59. The driver, identified as Richard Garcia (66), and the passenger, Audry Langston (63), were found in possession of suspected methamphetamine during a Terry frisk.

Both Garcia and Langston were subsequently arrested for possession of a controlled substance. A further investigation led to a search warrant of their residence on Barth Rd, where an aggravated trafficking amount of suspected methamphetamine was discovered.

Garcia and Langston have been charged with aggravated trafficking of a controlled substance. The investigation into this case is ongoing.
