Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office Announces Third Quarter Awards

The Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office has recognized several members for their performance during the third quarter.
Deputy Hunter Martin was named Deputy of the Quarter for their proactive approach, willingness to step up when needed, and exceeding expectations in a new role as the DUI Deputy.
Sgt. Ivory Bickham received the Corrections Officer of the Quarter award for professionalism and positive attitude. Consistently beginning the day positively and encouraging colleagues, Bickham’s efforts in training new officers and going beyond daily duties were noted.
Cpl. Rony Polizzi was given a Letter of Special Recognition for leadership capabilities. Demonstrating skills in organizing tasks by priority and directing multiple agencies during several major trauma events throughout the third quarter, Polizzi’s contributions were significant.
Adrianna Polizzi was honored as the Professional Support Employee of the Quarter for her efforts in a new field. Hired less than eight months ago as the Grant Coordinator, Adrianna has successfully identified and applied for multiple grants valued at just over $2 million. These funds will be used to acquire equipment, supplies, and other resources for the department.
